Southwest moves to Concourse C Sunday, US Airways to D November 12
The clocks aren’t the only things changing this weekend. Southwest Airlines is changing concourses, moving from Concourse D to Concourse C this Sunday, November 4. TSA staffing at the Concourse C security checkpoint will be increased to handle the additional passengers, but travelers are still encouraged to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the departure time.
Then, on Monday, November 12, US Airways will move from Concourse C to Concourse D. As always, check the flight information displays in the concession mall to confirm your gate before going through the security checkpoint.
Get your boarding pass “on-the-fly”
Running late and don’t yet have your boarding pass? Mitchell Airport is here to help! Check out our new boarding pass printing station, located at the Airport Information desk in the concession mall. Use the touch screen to quickly print your boarding pass for any airline before heading to your gate. It’s one more way we try to make your air travel from MKE as easy as possible.
Westbound Airport Spur returns
The Airport Spur is now open in both directions, giving all freeway traffic direct access to MKE. The long-term closures are complete, and crews are performing landscaping work to help beautify the approach into the airport. For additional information on the Mitchell Interchange project, visit the Wisconsin Department of Transportation web site at Plan94.org.
